‘Our Lady’ Premiere

September 8, 2011

I will be performing in SoHo-NYC, tonight, premiering ‘Our Lady‘ by Gregory Spears at an American Opera Projects workshop.   This is the first new work in the ‘Lady of Love and Sorrow’ project to be performed.  I am very excited about this project and workshop, and the good news/bad news is that tonight’s workshop is already sold out.

I’ll definitely be doing additional performances in the near future, though, so please keep checking back on this blog for details!

Stabat Mater/Our Lady of Love and Sorrows

March 21, 2011

The fourth score for the Stabat Mater/Our Lady of Love and Sorrows project has just come through and it’s beautiful.  Malcolm Archer has very kindly written this piece for me, called “Mary at the Cross”.  The three previous scores are also fantastic, and I’m greatly appreciative for those contributions made by Gregory Spears for “Our Lady”,  Vincent Bouchot for “Stabat Mater”, and Jackson Hill for “El Duelo”.
